Witten is a city on the Ruhr in the southeast of Ruhr area.

Witten lies between Bochum, Dortmund and Hagen and the Ennepe-Ruhr district, whose largest city it is. With almost 96,000 inhabitants, Witten is no longer a big city, it consists of the districts of Mitte, Düren, Stockum, Annen and Rüdinghausen, as well as Bommern, Heven, and Herbede, which are located on the Dysentery lie. A visit to Wiesenviertel near the train station is recommended, there are some popular student bars here: Knut's, [....] raum café, and Klim Bim.
