The source is at the foot of the Sella group, on a large meadow bordered by a coniferous forest. The source rises in the rubble and is located on the left bank of the stream. The main body of water has always been in the fissured and karstified Dolomites (sarldolomite - main dolomite), as well as in the rubble and in the brook alluvions above the springs. The water flows out of the back wall of a large stone and then flows into a small inox basin and then to the reserve "Plan de Gralba". From there it is fed to a basin outside the holding structure and finally into the drinking water supply network.
