What see

  • Church of Santa Maria Ester. The church is the only one in the town, refounded in 1715 on the old structure. The new Baroque construction gave rise to many legends, especially regarding the Latin inscriptions left in the succorpo. The church has two facades with a richly decorated portal, while the rear part in the square has no entrances.
In the 1960s the church was equipped with a bell tower. Regarding the legends, reference is made to a medieval Sator square, found in the church, perhaps brought back to the village in the Middle Ages from the old monastery of Sant'Angelo, now destroyed.
The symbol of the portal has also raised doubts because it reproduces that of the Knights of Malta, who would have possessed the town in medieval times.
