Arzana is located in Ogliastra and borders on Aritzo, Desulo, Elini, Gairo, Ilbono, Jerzu (administrative island of Contissa), Lanusei, Seui (South Sardinia), Seulo (South Sardinia), Tortolì, Villagrande Strisaili is Villaputzu (South Sardinia).

By plane

From the following airports, thanks to the presence of several car rental companies, it is possible to rent a car to reach Arzana.

By car

  • From Nuoro take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei to the crossroads of Arzana, here turn left to reach your destination.
  • From Golfo Aranci is Olbia take the state road 131 D.C.N. up to the main entrance of Nuoro. Do not enter the city but follow the signs for Tortolì and take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei to the Arzana crossroads, here turn left to reach your destination.
  • From Cagliari take the SS 125 Orientale Sarda road up to Tortolì, from here take the State Road 198 of Seui and Lanusei up to Lanusei, then turn right on the State Road 389 for Nuoro and after a few hundred meters, turn right for Arzana to reach your destination.
  • From Oristano take the state road 131 Carlo Felice until the exit "Nuoro-Olbia", from here take the state road 131 d.c.n. up to the main entrance of Nuoro. Once you arrive here, do not enter the city but follow the signs for Tortolì and take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei to the Arzana junction, here turn left to reach your destination.
  • From Alghero, follow the signs for Sassari and take the Provincial Road 42 of the two seas, then arrived at a roundabout, always follow the signs for Sassari and take the SS 291 della Nurra. Arrived near Sassari, follow the signs for Cagliari and take the state road 131 Carlo Felice and follow it until the exit Nuoro - Macomer, and then take the state road 129 Trasversale Sarda Macomer - Nuoro.   • From Tortolì take the Strada Statale 198 of Seui and Lanusei up to Lanusei, then turn right on the SS 389 for Nuoro and after a few hundred meters, turn right for Arzana to reach your destination.

On boat

From the port of Tortolì-Arbatax, connected with Genoa is Civitavecchia, or, for other routes also with other Italian ports, from the ports of Olbia- White Island, Golfo Aranci, Porto Torres is Cagliari.
