Circulate

By car

It is quite easy to get around on the departmental roads and streets of Bellerive-sur-Allier. During rush hour, traffic can be difficult, especially at the Bellerive bridge (D 2209).

Zones 30 are not very present; they only concern two roundabouts around rue Jean-Baptiste-Burlot, the Guinames subdivision and the Carré d'As shopping center.

In addition to a residential area away from the city center, the meeting areas (speed limited to 20 km / h and pedestrian priority) are located outside the built-up area, with access to the omnisports center and CREPS.

All car parks are free, but none of them (with the exception of the relay car park) is indicated by a sign upstream.

  • 1 [place de la Source Intermittente] (access by avenue de Russie) Logo indicating tariffs free. – This car park is located near the market and includes two spaces for electric vehicles.
  • 2 [Gabrielle Lesimple alley] (access by D 2209 from the Republic roundabout; exit to D 2209 and 984 or by rue de la Perche) – 38 places.
  • 3 [COSEC and Jean-Rostand college] rue Jean Ferlot – More than 60 places.
  • 4 Aquatic Stadium relay car park Chabannes Basses path (follow "P R Stade Aquatique" from the D 2209 leading to Gannat) Logo indicating tariffs free. – In addition to 170 spaces (covered) for the aquatic stadium car park, the seven places of the only relay car park in the city, marked behind the bus stop, allow a connection with lines C and I (from Monday to Saturday) of the urban network or the line B (Sundays and public holidays). Away, a charging station for electric vehicles.

To this list, we must add the five new car parks created following the development of the banks of the Allier:

  • 5 [Rue de la Grange aux Grains] (follow "Belles Rives d'Allier", then left at the first parking sign (L'Atmosphere restaurant)) – This first parking lot of 50 places (including two for the disabled) is located near the old nautical stadium.
  • 6 [Rue Eugénie Desgouttes] (follow "Belles Rives d'Allier", then second left at the parking sign) – This second parking lot of 50 places (as indicated by a sign, but in reality there are less, including two places for the disabled) is located on the old access to rue Claude-Decloitre. Nearby, the Tir aux Pigeons stadium.
  • 7 [Banks of the Allier] (follow “Belles Rives d'Allier”, straight on rue Eugénie-Desgouttes, then left twice (signs for Les Acacias, Chez Mémère, Chez Yoyo, Le Cabanon)) – The 88 and 37 places give access to the Les Acacias campsite and to the Le Cabanon, Chez Mémère and Le Rive Gauche restaurants.
  • 8 [Banks of the Allier 2] (follow "Belles Rives d'Allier", straight on rue Eugénie-Desgouttes, left then right (Beau Rivage sign)) – This parking lot 47 places not materialized gives access to Beau Rivage and Les Isles campsites.

Urban network

A bus from line C of the MobiVie network in 2019
Buses from the Vichy area serve the town of Bellerive-sur-Allier.
  • MobiVie Logo indicating a link to the websiteLogo indicating a wikipedia link Place de la Gare, Vichy, Logo indicating a telephone number  33 4 70 97 81 29 Logo indicating timetables service hours: Mon.- sat. : h 20 - 20 h and Sun. : 10 h - 12 h and14 h - 19 h. Logo indicating tariffs 1,25  the ticket purchased on board; travel card per trip; day ticket 3,4 . – MobiVie is the urban transport network of the Vichy Communauté agglomeration community. The town is served by four lines of the urban network:
    • line B connects Côte Saint-Amand, Vichy, Jean-Rostand college or rue Félix-Perraud (Du Bellay stop). It operates every day, at regular intervals of twenty minutes (thirty minutes on Saturdays), and serves the Bellerive bridge, the Navarre business area (E.Leclerc shopping center), the town hall and the college. On Sunday, the line is extended to the aquatic stadium, at the rate of one bus per hour,
    • line C connects the Cours Arloing, in Cusset, to the aquatic stadium. It operates from Monday to Saturday, at regular twenty-minute intervals (thirty minutes on Saturdays), and serves the Bellerive bridge, the intermittent spring and the aquatic stadium,
    • line G connects the Vichy SNCF station to Hauterive. Five passages are provided from Monday to Friday between these two destinations, via the Bellerive bridge and the left bank of Abrest,
    • line I connects the Ailes district in Vichy to the Navarre business area via the sports center, the aquatic stadium, the town hall and the Chantemerle district. It operates Monday through Saturday at regular hourly intervals.

By bike

From the exit of the bridge, start of the cycle route (shared lane) from the Bellerive bridge to the aquatic stadium.

The cycling facilities are sufficient. There are cycle paths or lanes along Avenue de Russie, or along Avenue de Vichy (in part). This last axis being very busy and dangerous, it is recommended to take the shared path (1,7 km) connecting the Bellerive bridge to the aquatic stadium, opened since july 2010.

You can also go around the lake via a route developed in 2011, by the sports center.

Since 2014, the Allier department has marked out a cycle route linking Vichy to Randan. This road follows departmental axes and part of rue Claude-Decloitre, redeveloped in 2019.

The Rive Gauche de l'Allier cycle route, on its own site, was completely redesigned in 2019, in particular between the Pont de l'Europe and the Pont de Bellerive to the campsites.

Numerous parking spaces for bicycles have been provided, at the right of the town hall, the cemetery, the college, and other public facilities. To this, we must add the bicycle parking spaces created with the development of the banks (from 8 to 14 places, for a total of about 120).
