Donauwörth can be reached very easily by all means of transport.
By plane
The nearest airport with scheduled and charter traffic is Nuremberg Airport(IATA: NUE)which can be reached by train in around 1.5 hours. That is just as far away Munich Airport
(IATA: MUC)from which there are connections all over the world. As an alternative to the train journey, various airport transfers also offer their service. Munich can be reached very quickly by car via the A92, A99, A 8 and the B2. Nuremberg is about that A 3, A 6 and to reach B2.

Donauwörth has a large heated outdoor pool with a 90-meter slide and a 10-meter tower on the Schellenberg. This can be reached with city bus 1, bus stop Bad / Kaserne or by car, there is a large parking lot in front of the bathroom.
There is also a large swimming lake, the Baggersee, with a beach volleyball facility, barbecue area, etc. in the recreational area on the Danube in the south of Donauwörth.
