By plane

From the following airports it is possible, thanks to several car rental companies present, to rent a car to reach Fonni.

By car

  • From Alghero, follow the signs for Sassari and take the Provincial Road 42 of the two seas, then arrived at a roundabout, always follow the signs for Sassari and take the SS 291 della Nurra. Arrived near Sassari, follow the signs for Cagliari and take the state road 131 Carlo Felice and follow it until the exit Nuoro - Macomer, and then take the state road 129 Trasversale Sarda Macomer - Nuoro. Follow the latter up to the junction for the state road 131 D.C.N., where there are signs indicating Nuoro Highway - Olbia is Nuoro Badu is Carros.   • From Sassari is Porto Torres take the state road 131 Carlo Felice up to the exit Nuoro - Macomer, and then take the state road 129 Trasversale Sarda Macomer - Nuoro.   • From Golfo Aranci, Olbia is Siniscola take the state road 131 D.C.N. up to the main entrance of Nuoro. Do not enter the city but follow the signs for Tortolì and take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei and, after about 18 km, take the "Fonni-Ovodda-Aritzo-Sorgono" exit and then arrive at your destination after a few km.
  • From Tortolì take the State Road 198 of Seui and Lanusei, then, after 2 km, follow the signs for Nuoro and turn right onto the provincial road 27, arrived at Villagrande Strisaili, turn left, always following the signs for Nuoro, then take the state road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei and follow it to the "Passo Caravai-Fonni" exit.
  • From Lanusei take State Road 198 of Seui and Lanusei, then follow the signs for Nuoro and turn right onto State Road 389 of Buddusò and Correboi which after about 10 becomes State Road 389 var Nuoro-Lanusei, follow the latter until the exit "Caravai-Fonni Pass".

On boat

From the ports of Tortolì-Arbatax, Olbia-Isola Bianca e Golfo Aranci or even from Porto Torres is Cagliari.

By bus

There Line 433 of the Arst Nuoro-Cagliari and vice versa, it makes stops in Fonni.
