By plane

From the following airports it is possible, thanks to several car rental companies present, to rent a car to reach Ollolai.

By car

  • From Golfo Aranci is Olbia take the State Road 131 D.C.N. up to the main entrance of Nuoro. Do not enter the city but follow the signs for Tortolì and take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei, then, after 15 km, take the "Lodine-Gavoi-Ollolai" exit and take the Provincial Road 30 to reach Gavoi after 15 km; from here take the Strada Statale 128 Centrale Sarda for a few kilometers towards Ottana, then take the exit for Ollolai and take the Provincial Road 29 to your destination.
  • Who comes from north-west Sardinia (Alghero, Sassari is Porto Torres) must take the Strada Statale 131 Carlo Felice up to the exit Nuoro-Macomer, and then take the State Road 129 Trasversale Sarda Macomer - Nuoro. Follow the latter until the exit for Bolotana, from here take the Provincial Road 17 up to Sarule, then take the Strada Statale 128 Centrale Sarda towards Gavoi, then take the exit for Ollolai and take the Provincial Road 29 to your destination.
  • From Cagliari is Oristano take the State Road 131 Carlo Felice until the exit "Nuoro-Olbia", where the Strada Statale 131 D.C.N starts, follow the latter until the exit for Ottana, from here take the Provincial Road 17 up to Sarule, then, take the Strada Statale 128 Centrale Sarda towards Gavoi, then take the exit for Ollolai and take the Provincial Road 29 to the destination.
  • From Tortolì take State Road 198 of Seui and Lanusei, then, after 2 km, follow the signs for Nuoro and turn right onto Provincial Road 27, arrived at Villagrande Strisaili, turn left, always following the signs for Nuoro, then take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei and follow it to the "Mamoiada-Fonni" exit, then follow the signs for Gavoi. From Gavoi take the Strada Statale 128 Centrale Sarda for a few kilometers towards Ottana, then take the exit for Ollolai and take the Provincial Road 29 to your destination.
  • From Lanusei take State Road 198 of Seui and Lanusei, then follow the signs for Nuoro and turn right onto State Road 389 of Buddusò and Correboi which after about 10 becomes State Road 389 var Nuoro-Lanusei, follow the latter until the exit "Mamoiada-Fonni", then, follow the signs for Gavoi. From Gavoi take the Strada Statale 128 Centrale Sarda for a few kilometers towards Ottana, then take the exit for Ollolai and take the Provincial Road 29 to your destination.

On boat

From the ports of Tortolì-Arbatax, Golfo Aranci is Olbia-Isola Bianca or from the ports of Porto Torres is Cagliari.

By bus

The ARST lines 505 Sorgono-Nuoro / Nuoro-Sorgono is 525 Fonni-Ottana / Ottana-Fonni they make stops in Ollolai.
