- Bayonne - Located in the Aquitaine region 28 km from the border Spanish by Irun.
- Biarritz - A seaside resort located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department.
- Bordeaux - Capital of the Aquitaine region and is the fourth most populous city in the country.
- Pau - City of art, it is famous above all for its castle, which was the residence of the Counts of Foix.
- Périgueux - Capital of the Dordogne department.
- Toulouse (Toulouse) - Capital of the Haute-Garonne department and cultural capital of Occitania. .
Other destinations
- Bagnères-de-Bigorre - Picturesque spa town located halfway between Lourdes and Tarbes at the foot of the Pyrenees. Very popular with skiers (in winter) and among cycling and hiking enthusiasts (in summer).
- Lourdes - Mystical center of veneration of Mary, the mother of Christ; probably the most visited destination in the region with around 6 million visitors a year.
