Ischgl's ski area - the "Silvretta Arena" - is one of the largest with over 200 km of slopes and a further 20 km of freeride slopes and 40 lifts, and because of the north-facing slopes and the altitude, it is also one of the most snow-sure ski areas in the Alps, with a correspondingly exclusive price level.

The public is mostly young and therefore eager to party, but the ski area is also suitable for families with children with slopes mostly of medium difficulty.

The winter season starts every year at the end of November and lasts until the beginning of May, the beginning and end are celebrated with pop concerts in the snow. Very few waiting times Ski areas in Austria.
