Lubawka(German: Liebau) is a mountain town in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship between the Giant Mountains, Raven Mountains and Waldenburger Bergland in the Sudeten. The place is the starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains. He is on Sudeten main hiking trail below the mountain pass Liebauer Tor between Poland and the Czech Republic.

The place was in 1284 in connection with the monastery Krzeszów first mentioned as a city. The place remained in the monastery until the secularization in 1810. In the age of Polish particularism, the monastery and the place belonged to changing duchies until it came to the Duchy of Schweidnitz in the 14th century, which became dependent on the fief of Bohemia in 1368. The city was destroyed and rebuilt in the Hussite Wars and the Thirty Years' War. In 1742/1763 the place came to Prussia. In 1869 the place was connected to the rail network. In 1945 he came to Poland.
