• Main artery the region is the section of the federal highway 8 (BAB 8 Munich - Salzburg) between the Feldkirchen and Rosenheim exits. The busy route is part of the most important German transit route to the holiday regions Austria and Italy. Despite the continuous three-lane expansion, significant congestion in both directions can therefore be expected during the holidays and vacations, especially on Saturdays with bed changes. The Traffic jam at Irschenberg is likely to be a household name among motorists far beyond the northern German national borders as far as the Netherlands, Denmark also in Sweden.
