Nahe cycle path - Nahe-Radweg

The local cycle path opens up the delightful valley of the river of the same name in Rhineland-Palatinate. There is a lot to discover along the Nahe: the jewelery city Idar-Oberstein, a charming river valley with vineyards, the spa town Bad Kreuznach and finally the near estuary at the beginning of the Middle Rhine Valley at Bingen.

Corner points of the route

  • Near source north of Selbach (district of Nohfelden in Saarland)

  • Kirn - Kyrburg, German Whiskey Museum, start of the Hunsrück Slate and Castle Road
→ Connection to the Glan-Blies-Weg
  • Oberhausen
  • Niederhausen - there follows a section on a railway cycle path
Near estuary at Bingen in the Rhine

Note: If you are familiar with the route, remove the heading "Corner points of the route" and replace this section with a detailed route description with stages. It is best to simply work the place names into the stages. You can find instructions on how to do this here .

An example of a fully developed cycle route with stages is here to find.
