Nordheim is on the federal highway B 285 and between Fladungen and Ostheim before the Rhön.
By plane
The nearest international airports are the Airport in Frankfurt (154 km, just under two hours by car), in Erfurt (83 km, one and a half hours by car) and the Airport in Nuremberg (185 km, just under two hours by car).

- from the south and north-east: via the motorway
(Schweinfurt - Suhl), 
Mellrichstadt, then on the B285 a few more kilometers via Ostheim to Nordheim.
- from the west / north: on the motorway
(Kassel - Würzburg), Fulda Nord, there direction Tann / Rhön and Meiningen and over Fladungen to Nordheim (approx. 43 km from the motorway exit)
