The Lesser Antilles are an archipelago in the Caribbean Sea located just north of theSouth America.

The Lesser Antilles are an archipelago made up of islands in the southern part of the West Indian arc from the Anegada Trench in the northwest to the subcontinent south american. They are so named as opposed to Greater Antilles. They form a long chain of islands separating the Caribbean Sea from theAtlantic Ocean.
Regions
You have to be careful, because the definition English-speaker of the Windward Islands and the Leeward Islands is different from that in French. However, the definitions spanish and dutch follow the one in French.
