The Pfitschtal (also Pfitschertal, Italian: Val di Vizze) is in South-Tirol (Italy). It is a side valley of the South Tyrolean Wipptal and leads from Sterzinger Basin (948 m) from over 36 km in length in a northeasterly direction in the Zillertal Alps and until Pfitscher Joch (2,246 m).

The municipality of Pfitsch includes the towns and hamlets of the valley. The administrative unit was created in 1931 through the amalgamation of the municipalities of Wiesen in the lower valley section and Pfitsch in the upper valley area, the common and unofficial name is usually "Municipality of Wiesen-Pfitsch".
The municipality of Pfitsch includes the fractions Flains, Schmuders, Tulfer, Kematen, St. Jakob, Stein, Maibad, Ried, Rain, Grube and Kinzen. The main town is meadows near Sterzing.

The nearest airport is that of Bolzano (approx. an hour's drive), other airports are the Innsbruck Airport (A.) (about two hours by car), in Verona (approx. 2.5 hours by car) and the Munich Airport (approx. 2.5 hours by car).
By train
The nearest train station is that of Sterzing and at the valley entrance, the station is already in the area of the municipality of Pfitsch and is a station for Intercity and Eurocity trains.

The only access on drivable roads is from the south-west of Sterzing. Pfitschtalstrasse then leads as a well-developed country road to the eastern end of the valley. Its extension is the Pfitscherjochstraße to the Pfitscherjoch, but this is not open to public traffic and motorized vehicles are not accessible.
There is no railway line in the valley.
Tourist Attractions
- Parish Church of Wiesen. First mentioned in 1337.
- 1 Castle Moos, Wiesen / Trautsonstrasse 190, I-39049 Pfitsch (in the valley floor near Wiesen at the entrance to the Pfitscher valley and on the edge of the Sterzinger Moos). . The former castle complex dates from the 13th century and was converted into a castle by the lords of Geizkofel around 1600. Today a retirement home is housed here.
