Angolans, Brazilians and Portuguese need a tourist visa to enter the country.

By airplane

  • Gives Africa: South African Airways and Kenyan Airways serve kinshasa three times a week home. Ethiopian Airlines has daily flights from Addis Abbeba.
  • Gives Europe: Air France, Brussels Airlines has regular direct flights. The cheapest tickets are from London and Paris, by African companies, approximately US$500/person/section.

In between Brazzaville, in the neighbor Congo and there are ferries and boats in the capital every two hours, from 8 am to 3 pm, with prices between US$15 and 20. Procedures in the neighboring country are smooth, but the same is not true in Kinshasa, especially if you are not accompanied by a representative government or an NGO. There are also faster and more expensive boats, and reservations are not recommended.

In Angola, you can arrive from a small road exiting the city of Dundo. Entry from the Congo is through a market and costs US$0.50. Many Angolans go to this market because it sells very cheap products, angola citizens have free entry while citizens of other countries need a visa.
