Santu Lussurgiu is a center of the Sardinia, in the province of Oristano.

Santu Lussurgiu is part of the authentic villages of Italy and is famous for the production of Casizolu, a stretched curd cow's milk cheese, typically obtained from the milk of Sardinian-Modican cows (red ox) reared all year round in the state wild.

By car

  • From Cagliari, Oristano, Sassari is Porto Torres take the Strada Statale 131 Carlo Felice and take the exit "Santu Lussurgiu-Ghilarza-Abbasanta", then take the Provincial Road 15 to arrive at Santu Lussurgiu.
  • From Golfo Aranci, Olbia, Siniscola is Nuoro take the Strada Statale 131 d.c.n. until Abbasanta, then take the Strada Statale 131 Carlo Felice towards Sassari, drive along the latter for about 1 km and take the "Santu Lussurgiu-Ghilarza-Abbasanta" exit, then take the Provincial Road 15 to arrive at Santu Lussurgiu.

From the ports of Porto Torres is Cagliari or from the ports of Olbia- White Island, Golfo Aranci is Tortolì-Arbatax.
