Magomadas is located in the historical subregion of Planargia and borders on Bosa, Flow, Modolo is Tresnuraghes. In the province of Nuoro until 2005, it passed in that year to the province of Oristano.

  • From Cagliari, Oristano, Sassari is Porto Torres take the Strada Statale 131 Carlo Felice and take the exit Macomer-Bosa, take the SS 129 bis Trasversale Sarda towards Bosa until Suni, then, arrived here, turn left following the signs for Cuglieri is Oristano and take the SS 292 North West Sardinian road and then arrive in Magomadas after about 5-6 km.
  • From Alghero drive along the coast road Alghero-Bosa, then arrived in Bosa, follow the signs for Macomer and Suni and exit the city onto the Strada Statale 129 bis Trasversale Sarda; after a few km, turn right onto the Provincial Road 35 for Modolo to arrive after about 6 km in Magomadas.   • From Tortolì take the State Road 198 of Seui and Lanusei, then, after 2 km, follow the signs for Nuoro and turn right onto the provincial road 27, arrived at Villagrande Strisaili, turn left always following the signs for Nuoro, then take the state road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei and follow it up to Nuoro. Once here, do not enter the city but follow the signs for Cagliari and take the Strada Statale 131 d.c.n., then take the exit Macomer-Sassari and take the SS 129 Trasversale Sarda; arrived near Macomer, take the Strada Statale 131 Carlo Felice towards Sassari and take the exit Macomer-Bosa, take the SS 129 bis Trasversale Sarda towards Bosa until Suni, then, arrived here, turn left following the signs for Cuglieri is Oristano and take the SS 292 North West Sardinian road and then arrive in Magomadas after about 5-6 km.

What see

  • 1 Parish Church of San Giovanni Battista (Located in the historic center of the town). 17th century church, in late Catalan-Gothic style.
  • Wine Museum (Via Parish). In addition to the museum, a wine shop is annexed here, which offers tastings of local wines.
  • 2 Source of Sant'Elia (Located at the entrance to the town.).
  • 3 Church of the Holy Cross (Located in the historic center of the town.). Church dating from the late 14th-early 15th century.
  • In the surrounding countryside there is also the Sebe nuraghe.
