Sejny is a historical place in the polish Voivodeship Podlaskie at the Marycha, a tributary of the Czarna Hańcza on the Eastern Suwałki Lake District. The city is located in the historical region Suwalszczyzna. The place is known for its mannerist Dominican monastery with the Marienbasilika.

By plane
The closest international Airport is at Olsztyn. Other nearby international airports are the Okęcie Airport and the Modlin Airport at Warsaw as well as the Świdnik Airport at Lublin.
By train

In the street
The road network is being expanded, but it is still relatively thin.
From Berlin the A12 leads to the border Slubice and further than Autostrada A2 to Warsaw. There you change to the expressway S8 direction Białystok. Still in Mazovia you leave the S8 and drive on the expressway S61 direction Suwałki. The place is not far from the S61.
Alternatively, from southern Germany and Switzerland you can use Prague and from Austria over Brno drive and then from the Polish-Czech border the Autostrada A1 take to A2.
