Turkey it is a country spread over two continents. 97% of the country's surface is in Asia and 3% in Europe. Turkey has borders with eight countries: Greece and Bulgaria the northwest; Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan the northeast; Iran the east; Iraq and Syria the south.
