Vaucluse department

Vaucluse is a department in the French region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It bears the serial number 84. The département borders on the départements Ardeche, Drôme in the North, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the East, Bouches-du-Rhône in the south and a few hundred meters to the department Var.

Regions

The department 84 - Vaucluse extends from the Rhône with Avignon and orange in the north over a fertile plain to the mountain ranges of the Dentelles de Montmirail, of Mont Ventoux, the Monts de Vaucluse and the Lubéron in the west and the Durance in the south, which is just south of Cavaillon flows into the Rhône.
