Wine town is a young city on the northern edge of the Virgin forest. It is only 20 km from the state capital Stuttgart.

background

Weinstadt was created in the course of a community reform in 1975 through the merger of the towns of Beutelsbach, Endersbach, Großheppach, Schnait and Strümpfelbach. The city is located in an important wine-growing region in the Rems Valley. Viticulture still plays an important economic role today, around 1,500 wine growers work with the Remstal winery. Given the name of the city, it is not surprising that it is part of the Württemberg Wine Route lies.
