Łopuszna is a mountain town in Poland in the voivodeship Lesser Poland. The place is in the historical region Podhale at the foot of the High Tatras southeast of Krakow and not far from Nowy Targ on the southern slope of the Gorce on the edge of the eponymous National parks.
background
The place was founded in 1364. The Gothic wooden church dates from 1504. In 1790 the owners of the village built the classical manor. The philosopher Józef Tischner was born here in 1931.
