Bad Alexandersbad is a small, 590 m high mineral and mud spa in the southeastern Fichtel Mountains. The place is only 3 km from the county seat Wunsiedel away. The famous rock labyrinth Luisenburg is also not far away.

In the street
Bad Alexandersbad is about the little-traveled Highway 93court–regensburg reachable. The departure is 
13 Marktredwitz-Nord, where you then change to the B 303.
By train and bus
The next train station is in Marktredwitz, then continue with the bus.
Lines 3, 4, 7 and 10 go directly from the Wunsiedel bus station to Bad Alexandersbad.

Bad Alexandersbad has retained its village character, although the newer buildings are particularly eye-catching. The sights in detail:

The healing spring, discovered in 1734, belongs to the earthy-saline iron waters, has a temperature of 9.4 ° C. and is used for baths and as a drink. It is particularly recommended against passive mucus and blood flows, chronic nervous diseases, irregular menstruation, outdated rheumatism, atonic gout, etc. The spa period is all year round.

The Luisenburg rock labyrinth is a rock maze made of granite blocks, it is a footpath about 2 km west of the village. Festivals are held on the natural stage in summer. Also worth seeing is the Mariannenburg ruin, an artificial castle ruin with a viewpoint. The "Luisenberg-Kreuz" viewing platform is also worth climbing: the granite cliff that can be walked on even has a summit cross.
The ridge of the KitchenetteFrom the two peaks of the "Kosseine" (945 m and 922 m high) you have a great view of the surrounding landscape. There are Summit gastronomy for a strengthening. Worth seeing is the 879 m high castle stone, a lookout point on the rock of the same name.
