Bad Waldsee is a city in Upper Swabia. It is known as a Kneipp spa and mud spa and is located both on the Swabian Baths Road as well as the Upper Swabian Baroque Street.

Waldsee was first mentioned in a document in 926. The place received city rights in 1298.

The first mud bath was opened in 1950, Waldsee has been a mud spa since 1956, and a Kneipp spa since 1974.

Bad Waldsee includes the towns of Reute, Gaisbeuren, Haisterkirch, Michelwinnaden and Mittelurbach as well as a number of other hamlets and farms.
