Bruehl in the Rhineland is a city between Cologne and Bonn in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The train station is located directly at the back of Augustusburg Palace, and the ways to the city center are accordingly short. Various regional bus and city transport lines as well as the express bus to the Phantasialand amusement park also stop here.

The urban area is in north-south direction from the Line 18on the route of the Vorgebirgsbahn between Cologne and Bonn wrong, developed. During the opening hours of the Phantasialand amusement park, there is a separate shuttle service called "Phantasialand-Shuttle" from the stops Brühl Bahnhof (DB) and Brühl Mitte, which is not included in the tariff of the transport association.

There is a diverse mix of retail outlets here, and the market hosts a fresh produce market every Wednesday. More shops can be found in the Giesler Galerie at the southern end of the pedestrian zone.
