In Cesena many traditions of Romagna folklore are reflected. The historic center is equipped with countless churches and ancient buildings, as well as numerous shops and clubs. It is located about 18 km from Forlì, 30 km from Rimini and 36 km from Ravenna.
In the center of Cesena there is the Malatesta Library, famous not only in Italy, recognized byUNESCO as "Memory of the World".

ZTL ACTIVATION - ICARUS SYSTEM On 14 January 2013 the pre-operation phase of the access detection systems to the Limited Traffic Zone of the Municipality of Cesena will start. This system has the following objective: - to reduce private vehicular traffic, encouraging the use of public transport; - to reduce noise and atmospheric pollution values; - to improve safety for citizens; - to make the historic center more usable for the transit of pedestrians.
Among other things, the access control system makes it possible to detect the traffic volumes by time bands of both unauthorized and authorized vehicles, to process statistics and / or changes to road traffic. in correspondence with the ZTL Gates in order to indicate to the user the operating status of the gate and avoid accidental unauthorized passages.
