The place Dobel lies on a wooded ridge between Murgtal and Enztal. When fog spreads in the valley areas, the Dobel remains largely fog-free. Due to its climate and its location, the Dobel is a popular local recreation destination, and Dobel has been allowed to use the title since 1984 Climatic health resort to lead.
