Gettorf is a place in Schleswig-Holstein, it lies in the center of the Danish wellbeing, between the Kiel and Eckernförde Bay, bounded by the Kiel Canal.

Gettorf was first mentioned in writing around 1310, thanks to its favorable geographical location.
