Kassel Airport
The Kassel-Calden Airport (IATA code KSF, ICAO code EDVK) is just under nine kilometers southwest of Immenhausen. There are only tourist connections in regular operation and a connection within Germany in the summer Sylt. (www.kassel-airport.aero)
Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport
The Paderborn Lippstadt Airport (IATA code PAD, ICAO code EDLP) is located about 70 kilometers west of Immenhausen between the cities Paderborn and Lippstadt. Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport has numerous tourist connections as well as regular connections to the transfer airports in Frankfurt and Munich. (www.airport-pad.com)
By train
The Immenhausen train station is linked to Kassel via the RT3 Regiotramlinie as part of the North Hessian Transport Association. The trains run in 20 minutes via the Kassel Central Station (not long-distance train station!) to downtown Kassel. In the other direction you can take the RT3 to Hofgeismar with connection to regional trains to Kassel and Münster.

- 2 City center with half-timbered buildings and half-timbered town hall - Half-timbered buildings around the town church and that Half-timbered town hall.
- 3 Remains of the city wall(Wall section with two towers) - A wall section with a horseshoe tower and an owl tower has been preserved. There is a small exhibition on the city's history in the horseshoe tower. The key to the tower is available from Monday to Friday at the Glass Museum. Around the city wall there is a small park with seating and also a small children's playground.
