Urban centers
- Aalborg - Fourth city of country, Aalborg is an industrial city with little trace of its past. 45 km from Aalborg, on the shores of the North Sea, is the seaside resort of Løkken-Vrå.
- Blokhus - Renowned tourist center in the dunes of the west coast.
- Dronninglund - Town on the east coast dominated by a 12th century castle.
- Frederikshavn - Important port on the east coast with regular connections to the city Swedish of Gothenburg and the neighboring island of Læsø.
- Hadsund
- Hanstholm - A modern port with no particular interest. In its vicinity is the Klitmøller beach very popular with surfers for the strong winds that blow there.
- Hirtshals - An artificial harbor opened between 1919 and 1930 in the coastal dunes of the Skagerrak. Its main attraction is the Nordsøen Oceanarium, one of the largest aquariums in Europe.

- Hobro - Pleasant village of 10,000 inhabitants in whose surroundings are the ruins of Fyrkat, the oldest of the Viking fortresses.
- Løkken
- Skagen - Located at the extreme northern tip of Jutland, where the waters of the Baltic and the North Sea meet, Skagen is very popular although bathing in its waters is not allowed due to strong sea currents.

- Hirsholmene - A group of 10 islets which constitute a protected natural area.

- Thy National Park - It occupies the coastal area for about 55 kilometers between Hanstholm and Agger Tange.
