Midlum is a place in the joint municipality of Land Wursten in the Elbe-Weser triangle between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven.

Midlum is a place with around 1700 inhabitants that is between the cities Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven lies. One half of Midlum is in the marshland and the other on the Geest; the community does not reach the coast. It is the second largest town in the joint municipality of Land Wursten, which consists of seven member municipalities. Land Wursten extends from the North Sea with the North Sea baths Dorum and Wremen to the Geest to Midlum with its moors and forests.

  • 1 Mill The landmark of Midlum, which can be seen from afar, is the galleryDutch windmill, which stands in the center of Midlum. The Midlumer Mühle was built in 1857 and was in operation until 1955. Today it is a listed building. The historic mill is functional again after its restoration a few years ago (from 1998) and is now used for weddings, among other things, because it is an official branch of the Wurster Land registry office.
