background
This district includes part of the Baden Odenwald and the lower Neckar from Haßmersheim to Zwingenberg. A considerable part belongs to the Building land. Other Badeners also like to call this area Baden-Siberia referred to because it is not climatically one of the spoiled regions. The cultivation of spelled and green spelled had been common here (partly by necessity) long before these types of grain were rediscovered by the organic movement.
