Neustadt on the Danube(officially Neustadt on the Danube) is a city in the Hallertau.

The formerly independent communities Arresting, Eining, Geibenstetten, Heiligenstadt, Hienheim, Irnsing, Marching, Mauern, Mühlhausen, Schwaig, Sittling, Ulrain and belong to Neustadt Bad Gögging, the latter is known nationwide as a health resort. The area around Neustadt is characterized by the cultivation of asparagus and hops.
