Eastern Europe - Osteuropa

The region Eastern Europe starts on the eastern borders Finland, Poland, the Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia as North Macedonia and ends at the Urals and the Caucasus. In terms of cultural history, the countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania do not belong to Eastern Europe, as they both have non-Slavic roots and were for a long time in the German or Scandinavian cultural sphere.
