The Pomeranian Lake District (Polish Pojezierze Pomorskie) is in the northwest Poland and is part of the South Baltic Lake Districts. The region extends over five voivodships is part of the voivodeships West Pomerania, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Lebus, Greater Poland and Kuyavian Pomeranian.

Pomeranian Switzerland
Pomeranian Switzerland is a hilly forest and lake landscape of the Dramburger Lake Districtwhose midpoint is roughly between Szczecinek and Połczyn-Zdrój to the Dratzigsee lies. She is from the Drage flowed through. The landscape is protected in the landscape park of the same name. The highest point is about 250 meters above sea level. The runs through Pomeranian Switzerland Hiking trail in the valley of the five lakes.

From ancient times, Polish, German and Jewish influences mixed in the area. The moraine hills are lower here than in Masuria. There are numerous post-glacial lakes. In comparison to Suwałki Lake District however, the lakes are relatively shallow.
getting there
The region begins immediately to the east of the Or. The journey is via the highways Autostrada A6 and Autostrada A2 possible.
language
The official and lingua franca is Polish. You can get along well with English everywhere.

The road, rail and bus network is very well developed. Having your own mobile stand is nevertheless helpful.

The numerous lakes are well worth seeing.
