  • 4 Hero stone - Strictly speaking, the "King of the Werra Valley" no longer belongs to the Ringgau, but tourism can be counted as part of the region. Very nice panoramic view of the Werra valley. From Rittmannhausen, which is already 350 m above sea level, the mountain is very easy to hike. It goes on farm roads 1 Farm road from Rittmannshausen towards Heldrastein steadily rising up to 450 m height to the former Kolonnenweg on the former inner-German border at 2 Heldrastein: Beginning of the column path.
