The town of Schrozberg was created during the municipal reform around 1975 through the amalgamation of the formerly independent towns Bartenstein, Ettenhausen, Leuzendorf, Riedbach, Schmalfelden and Spielbach. It is located on the Hohenlohe plain and belongs to the Schwäbisch Hall district.
