Stühlingen is a small town on the edge of the Southern Black Forest. It is above the Wutach Gorge on the border with Switzerland.

The small town of Stühlingen is located in the Waldshut district. Your neighboring communities are Eggingen, Ühlingen-Birkendorf, Bonndorf, Wutach, Hüfingen and Blumberg as Schleitheim (CH), Oberhallau (CH) and Hallau (CH). Between 1973 and 1975 the formerly independent villages of Bettmaringen, Blumegg, Eberfingen, Grimmelshofen, Lausheim, Mauchen, Oberwangen, Schwaningen, Unterwangen and Weizene were incorporated.
