With a coastline that stretches for 1130 km, the South West is a magnet for would-be visitors. The stretch of coastline known as the Jurassic Coast is the only location in the wholeEngland to appear in the list of World Heritage Sites

Urban centers
- Bristol - One of the most important ports in UK, Bristol is an interesting city and also quite lively at night but for this reason it requires some precautions.
Somerset
- Bath - Famous for its thermal springs that have been exploited since Roman times, Bath is a top-notch tourist destination.
- Glastonbury - An important counterculture center at the time of the flower children, Glastonbury is of Celtic foundation.
- Taunton - Capital of the Somerset.
- Wells - Famous for its Gothic cathedral.

Gloucestershire
- Cheltenham - Renowned for its spa that is no longer in operation, Cheltenham has preserved Georgian mansions and villas overlooking parks and tree-lined avenues.
- Cirencester - Halfway between Gloucester is Oxford, Cirencester is the largest village in the south of "Cotswolds", a region that counts numerous medieval villages among sweet rural landscapes, besieged by vacationers since the beginning of the summer.
- Dartmouth
- Gloucester - Founded in Roman times by army veterans, Gloucester flourished during the Middle Ages as evidenced by the magnificent Gothic cathedral which has survived intact to this day. Along the way to Cardiff meet the Forest of Dean, a former royal hunting reserve with extensive oak woods.
- New Forest - Protected since 1079 by laws issued by William the Conqueror, New Forest is still a virgin land.
Other destinations
- Exmoor National Park - The area, frequented by lovers of walking and cycling and horseback riding, is one of the oldest agricultural lands in the Great Britain.
- Lizard Peninsula - Extreme southern edge of the British Isles in the south of Cornwall.
- Stonehenge - Neolithic archaeological site in Wiltshire.
