In recent years, the cycle paths have been signposted extensively in accordance with ADFC criteria. The routes are mostly straight, without steep gradients, so that families with small children and older cyclists can relax and enjoy nature. Attractive package deals are available especially for these visitors, but there are no opportunities for mountain biking or extensive racing biking.

Corresponding entry and exit points can be found at the tourist information offices. For particularly active vacationers, there is the possibility of booking a combined bike and paddle tour.
