Hodenhagen is a community in the Lueneburg Heath in Lower Saxony.

Hodenhagen is a place and a municipality in the Samtgemeinde Ahlden, It is also used for tourism by the Aller-Leine-Tal association Aller-Leine valley assigned.
The place is known, among other things, because of the location on the south-eastern outskirts Serengeti parks.

From the A7 between Hanover and Hamburg take exit 49 (Westenholz) and take the L 191 in the direction of Hodenhagen.
By boat
Canoeists and other boat travelers reach Hodenhagen on a tour on the Aller, which runs a few 100 m west of the village.

The Leine-Heide cycle path leads through Hodenhagen, coming from Ahlden (Aller), which is 2 km away, and continues in 17 km to Bad Fallingbostel.
On foot
A variant of the Way of St. James leads through Hodenhagen, the Jakobusweg Lüneburg Heath, on the section from Hittfeld to Mariensee.
