The Brandenberg Alps are a mountain group in the Northern Limestone Alps (Eastern Alps) and are located in Tyrolean lowlands in the Austrian federal state Tyrol.
Regions
The Brandenberger Alps are bordered in the north by the valley of the Thierseer Ache Mangfall Mountains (Tegernsee and Schlierseer mountains), from the Brandenberger Ache in the west to the Rofan to and from Tyrolean Lower Inn Valley to the south and east to Kaiser Mountains and to the Kitzbühel Alps.
