background
The Eider-Treene-Sorge river landscape consists of 115 communities and around 100,000 inhabitants. It is strongly rural. Nature is the region's greatest asset. The rivers meander gently through this unique landscape: wide meadows, moors and small valleys. Buckets, thatched roof houses, stork nests and a dense network Curtsey shape this idyllic cultural landscape.
