Iserlohn is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The city of Iserlohn is located east of the Ruhr area in the Sauerland. Because of its location in the midst of wooded mountains, the city also bears the nickname Waldstadt.

- The Seilersee (officially Callerbachtalsperre), a small reservoir for drinking water supply, is one of the most popular destinations for walkers and joggers in the city. There is a footpath around the lake, from which hiking trails lead into the adjacent Seilerwald.In summer, rowing and pedal boats can be hired; in winter the lake is opened to ice skaters after persistent frost. There are some aviaries in the area of the smaller lake.
- Foot and bike path on the former railway line after Hemer. The path, which was opened in 2009 and is paved throughout, runs away from the streets and offers a beautiful view of the old town from the old railway bridge. Along the way there are also information boards on geology, industrial and city history.
