Karwia (German Karwen) is a seaside resort in Poland in the voivodeship Pomerania at the Slowinsian coast, the central part of the Polish Baltic coast.
background
The place is quite small and manageable. It is therefore particularly suitable for tourists who are looking for peace and relaxation on the beach and in nature away from the hustle and bustle. However, it can get quite crowded in the high season in July and August.
The seaside resort developed from a fishing village that was mentioned as early as 1274.
The strand section lies between the drainage channel of Karwieńskie Błoto Drugie in the west and the stream Czarna Struga (also called Czarna Woda) in the east.
