Mechelinki (German: Mech links) is a seaside resort in Poland in the voivodeship Pomerania at the Kashubian coast the Gdańsk Bay (specifically of their northeastern trek, the Cute bay). The place is immediately on the Polish Baltic coast.
background
The place is quite small and manageable. It is therefore particularly suitable for tourists who are looking for peace and relaxation on the beach and in nature away from the hustle and bustle.
The nature reserve is located in the north of the village Mechelińskie Łąki.

By plane
- In Danzig there is an international airport (IATA code: GDN), which is also served by numerous providers from German-speaking countries. There are direct connections, among other things Dortmund (Wizzair), Hamburg (Lufthansa), Frankfurt am Main (Lufthansa, LOT) Frankfurt Hahn (Ryanair), Dusseldorf (Ryanair), Cologne-Bonn (Wizzair), Munich (Lufthansa, LOT).

- Longer travel times, around 3 to 4 hours, are from the airport Poses (IATA code: POZ) required. This is also served in German-speaking countries by Lufthasa from Frankfurt and Munich.
By train
You can travel by train from Germany via Swinoujscie or over Szczecin respectively. The place itself does not have a train station. The nearest train station is several kilometers away in Gdynia on the railway line from Gdynia on the Hel Peninsula and to the end of it in Hel. The Polish rail network is operated by the state railway PKP. Rail travel in Poland is very cheap.
By bus
Numerous bus companies offer bus trips to Gdynia from Germany and Austria, e.g. Sindbad, Eurolines, Touring, Omnia. Inexpensive intercity buses run from Gdynia. In addition to the state bus line PKS, there is a wide range of private providers. The place is part of the Gdynia public transport network. Several city bus routes from Gdynia go to Mechelinki.

The road network around Mechelinki is well equipped, the place is north of the coastal road Expressway S6 and to the east of their branches 216 Voivodeship Street. The journey from Germany is via Berlin, Szczecin and Gdynia possible.

The Putziger Bay usually falls flat under water and there are hardly any tides or unpredictable currents. Bathing is therefore usually safe for families with children and swimming accidents are rare. When swimming accidents do occur, excessive alcohol or drug consumption is usually involved. However, if you follow the general bathing rules and do not go into the water when the waves are high, you have little to fear.
