Khao Phanom Bencha National Park
The Khao Phanom Bencha National Park is a national park in the province Krabi. The park is about 50 km², includes a rainforest and numerous animal species. A park with an impressive and shady flora.

The park is about 20 kilometers from Krabi Town. The national park is part of many half and day tours offered by various tour operators. On these excursions you can see one or two waterfalls on easy hikes. More demanding explorations are more likely to be possible with individual arrivals. You can take a taxi or rent a scooter.

Huai Toh waterfall
- The National Park.
- 1 Namtok Huai Toh waterfall, over 70 m high with 3 steps, after each step there is a small pond in which you can swim. Approx. 15 minutes walk from the park entrance.
- 2 Huai Sade waterfall, 300 m from the entrance, three cascades.
- 3 Tham Khao Phung cave, just under 3 km from the park entrance.

- Walk through the park, entry at the park entrance for adults 200 THB, children 100 THB, free for Thais.
- 1 Elephant rides . According to information from the people there, the elephants are kept and cared for in a community that has existed for several generations. They also raise their own offspring of elephants. One family at a time takes care of an elephant. http://krabidir.com/huaythosafari/
- Climb the Khao Phanom Bencha summit in a multi-day hike. The mountain is 1397 m high. Hiking is also possible with a guide.
Tips and hints
- Preparing your tour can be very helpful, as the staff rarely speaks English.
- Sturdy shoes if you are out and about away from the main paths.
- Don't forget your swimwear for a swim in the waterfall ponds.
- Take mosquito repellent with you in the rainy season.
