The province Krabi(Thai: กระบี่) located in Southern Thailand, on the Andaman Sea coast. Its beaches are among the most famous and most visited tourist destinations in the region.

- 1 Krabi (เทศบาล เมือง กระบี่). The provincial capital has developed. It offers an international airport, new hotels and also western bars and restaurants. If you only need the beach as a day trip, you can definitely stay in Krabi instead of the well-known beach locations.
- 2 Ao Nang (ตำบล อ่าว นาง). One of the centers of beach tourism not far from the provincial capital. Ao Nang offers two beaches and a wide variety of resorts and hotels.
- 3 Railay (อ่าว ไร่ เล). The beautiful beach is a popular destination for day trips. In addition to the beach stay, there are opportunities for rock climbing and a climbing / hiking trail to a beautiful viewpoint and a lagoon. By plane
Krabi has its own Krabi airport(IATA: KBV); 11 km east of Krabi town), which is served several times a day from Bangkok, but also directly from other airports in East and Southeast Asia. There are no direct connections from Europe yet, but Qatar Airways has now included the destination in its flight schedule.
By train
The province of Krabi has no rail connection. The closest train station is 125 km away Trang.
By bus
There are frequent bus connections from Bangkok (travel time 12½ hours; price 643 or 944 ฿, depending on the car class). Buses from the southern bus station Sai Tai are usually cheaper and more reliable than those from the Khao San Road.
Phantip Travel offers buses from several times a day Surat Thani to Krabi. The journey takes four hours and costs ฿ 210. Some buses also go directly to Ao Nang, which then costs 500–550.
By boat
